Welcome to the Kuba range - a sturdy and robust collection of statement furniture with a distinctive and unique industrial feel.
The Kuba collection is exceptionally well made, having been handcrafted from chunky pieces of solid acacia wood and topped with eye-catching, hard-wearing studded zinc surfaces. The use of acacia wood offers an appealing contrast to the zinc surfaces, softening the look and therefore enabling you to seamlessly introduce items into your kitchen, living room or dining area.
Each piece is particularly solid and sturdy, as you’d come to expect from an industrial-inspired range, and an added benefit is that the timber is finished with a resilient, clear oil, which both enhances and protects the natural beauty of this attractive wood.
As demonstrated here in the products’ lifestyle photography, whilst the range is certainly able to coordinate with carpets, it’s ideally placed on natural styles of flooring (for example, slate), in keeping with the slightly raw industrial look.
Industrial-influenced furniture has been popular for the past decade or so, both within the UK and throughout the world. However, in the past two or three years the style has become more mainstream and is certainly no longer confined to designer flats within redeveloped industrial warehouses. Indeed, the trend is spreading partly thanks to the greater number of variants on the traditional style, and the Kuba range is very much part of this movement.
